Abstract Submission

Author Guidelines

To make easier the preparation of the abstract you can downlad the 'abstract template', an empty preformatted RTF file type that can be used to quickly create the abstract file. In the template, everything such as requested Font, Size, Margins are preformatted.

The abstract template file is particularly useful if you paste text from other files. In this case, choose the paste option which allows the matching with destination format (i.e. Times New Roman, size 9pt) .

Please type in ONLY the abstract body (and NOT title, authors and affiliations), without changing margins or page size.

Title, authors and affiliations will be requested later during the submission process.

The correct font is Times New Roman, size 9pt

The abstract body must fit in ONE page only. Figures are not allowed in the abstract.

Save your abstract as .docx, .doc or .rtf file.

An example of what a correct abstract should look like can be seen here

The first time you enter in the abstract submission system you must create a new account. If you have already an account you can proceed to STEP ONE OF THE SUBMISSION PROCESS.

If you do not have an account, read the following instructions and proceed.

Be aware that all the account data (including password) can be modified later except the email address, which must be unique and active, because you will receive an email containing the confirmation of the account creation and a reminder of your username and password.

Once the account is created you will be redirected to your account page, from which you can edit your user profile, change your password, log out for entering your abstract later or proceed with your abstract submission clicking on the "New Submission" link.

CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT and fill in your profile form.
